PLANNING COMMISSION

The Planning Commission meets on Tuesdays that are scheduled the same week as the City Council meetings - the Council meets on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month.

Planning Commissioners are appointed by the City Council for a four-year term. Any resident of the City who is 18 years old and a registered voter living in Newark is eligible to apply to be considered as a Planning Commissioner.
