Aquatic Birthday Parties, Group Reservations and Cabana Rentals
The Silliman Activity and Family Aquatic Center
is the PERFECT Place to Host Your Birthday Party or Special Event!
Due to the Silliman Family Aquatic Center closure, we are not currently hosting Aquatic Birthday Parties. However, we will accept reservation applications starting on April 1, 2013 for parties held after May 31, 2013.
General Information:
- Parties must be booked at least two weeks in advance.
- 10% Discount on all parties held Monday-Friday.
- $100 Refundable damage deposit and Base Booking Fee due at booking.
- Party Packages are 2 hours length.See Reservation Form for specific times. The Party Packages include 15 minutes for set-up & 15 minutes for clean-up in addition to the designated party time. Additional fees will be charged for room use after designated time.
- ALL Persons (adults & children, swimming or not) in attendance will be included in the final count of your party package.
- Only food that is non-competing with our Otter Alley Café is allowed into the facility. No outside beverages allowed into the facility. Food packages are available. Click here for FOOD PACKAGE ORDER FORM. All Café orders must be prepaid and placed one week prior to your party/event.
- Add PARTY EXTRAS to your special party or event: Goody Bags, Goggles, Invitations, Cake, Ice-Cream, Cups/Napkins/Plates/Forks, Additional Room Time (if available), or Gym Time (if available)

To reserve your party, follow these simple steps:
* Decide which package you wish to book
* Contact the Aquatic Front Desk for date/time availability at 510-578-4668.

* Submit completed reservation form with $100 deposit and Base Booking Fee to Aquatic Front Desk in person, by fax to 510-578-4622, or email to recreation@newark.org. NO BOOKINGS will be reserved without completed paperwork and payment.
Group Reservations:
Not in need of a party package but coming in as a group...(20 or more persons).

Cabanas:
Rent a Cabana during your next visit to the pool and enjoy a private reserved area on our pool deck. Each Cabana has a table, 10 chairs, and snacks. Rental fees are $40 R/$50 NR per time period. See Reservation Form for specific times.Reservations may be made in advance or the day of based on availability. To reserve your Cabana, conplete the Cabana Application and return with your rental fees.
