Welcome our Premiere Indoor Water Park - Newark's Place to Play.

The Silliman Activity and Family Aquatic Center is one site made up of the Silliman Activity Center and the Silliman Family Aquatic Center.  Together, they form an award-winning center offering a variety of entertainment and activities for all ages.

 Silliman Family Aquatic Center Pool Features and Information:

• 45'x75' Activity Pool with zero depth entry and water play structure, includes 6 platforms, over 30 different water jets, 2 water guns, 2 slides and 3 overhead rope pulls.
• 25 yard 4 Lane Lap Pool with depth of 42" at the end and 54" at the center
• 245 foot Lazy River complete with inner tubes to ride on
• 15 person warm-water spa; size 18' by 13' with depth of 42"
• 2 Water Slides with the tower rising 20 feet above the pool deck; one slide is a full chute and 1 slide is a half chute, guest must know how to swim and  be at least 48" to ride
• Men's and Women's locker rooms with showers, restrooms and baby changing stations as well as individual family changing rooms.
• Other activities include (subject to additional fees)  swim lessons - - water exercise classes - - mini-recreation swim - - river walking  - -  pool safety presentations for the classroom - - lifeguard training - - junior lifeguard camps - - special events

POOL HOURS: (February through May)  Includes Holiday and Spring Break Hours 
Note:  Lap pool Hour changes beginning Feb. 1 due to city budget cuts.  No lap swim between hours of 2-3pm and 8-9pm.

Open Recreation Swim (all pools open including large slides, lazy river, spa, open lap pool and children's activity pool) 
Mini-Recreation Swim (activity pool only, great for preschool age and all young children)
Lap Pool Swim (pool specific). For adults and children who are approved lap swimmers. Click here for Lap Pool Lane Availability and Lap Swim Age Policy, lap swimmers who are under age 16 must be approved swimmers from our lifeguard staff.
River Walking (lazy river only 16+ years)

OTTER ALLEY CAFE - Cafe is open during Open Recreation swim times
Menu items include: Round Table Pizza,  chicken nuggets, hot dogs, nachos, burritos, smoothies, pretzels and churros etc. Food Packages are available for parties and group rentals.

• BIRTHDAY PARTIES - 5 great birthday packages to choose from (check out our birthday party page for more information)
• GROUP RESERVATIONS are available for pool entrance for groups of 20 or more with a $50.00 damage deposit which is refundable and payment for first 20 guests (your balance of more than 20 guests is due the day of your event).
