Chaplaincy Program

The Police Chaplaincy Program is designed to provide officers and supervisors a resource to assist members of the community who are in crisis as a result of an unexpected traumatic event. This includes assisting victims, families, and witnesses who are directly impacted by a death or serious injury, assisting officers with death notifications, and other traumatic events. The program also responds to the needs of police employees and their families in case of serious injury or death to the employee or their family, counseling in response to stress or family crisis problems, and training regarding critical incident stress, just to name a few.
