Planning Commission

The Planning Commission reviews and takes action on certain planning applications and makes recommendations to the City Council on land use issues. The Planning Commission meets on Tuesdays that are scheduled the same week as the City Council meetings - the Council meets on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month. Planning Commission meetings are held at 7:00 p.m. in the City Administration Building, 37101 Newark Boulevard, 6th Floor, Newark. For meeting agendas or minutes please click here.

Planning Commissioners are appointed by the Mayor, with the approval of the City Council, for a four-year term.
